We love this place. We go regularly, for a quick drink and food from noiys noodles. The food is great, the place is lovely and the service is fantastic. The bar staff have always been so good.

No smoking. Great pub with a large garden that is also no smoking. Located a short walk from the beach. 3 real ales including one from local Hofuzz brewery. The other 2 change but one is always a best bitter. The inside pub area is down steps from all access points. The garden is accessible from the side road. An accessable toilet is located in Noys noodles which is accessible from the front and has some tables.

Interesting concept: One half of the building is a charming country pub serving cask ales, the other half is a pop-up Thai restaurant with an open-plan kitchen - and the food is excellent. Both drinkers and eaters have access to a small beer garden at the back. Only 100 yards or so from the sea front. A real find.

A beautiful little pub with a great and pleasing garden. Staff were pleasant, and beer was resalable. Has two open fireplaces that i was told are in use in the winter months. Food, however, was not traditional. It has a Thai noodles bar. We did not try them. It's not my thing for a pub, not very in line with the atmosphere.

We popped in for some food and drinks with 4 kids in tow. The noodle place next door is part of the pub and the food was great! All the kids smashed it down and the adults loved it too. The pub part had a great drinks selection and the bar tender was polite and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Turned up looking for food, but arrived just as the noodle bar attached closed, Wednesday 20.30. Manager very apologetic. Had a beer though in the very pleasant well thought out back garden and the Manager came over and said he could do us a curry if we wished- brilliant customer service. Worth a visit for sure. Food they do is Asian Street food.
A lovely place to visit. Visited on 5/5/23, which was a lovely warm evening. So, to find an area out the back to enjoy a drink was very pleasant surprise. Would definitely visit again, and looking at what people were eating, may well enjoy a meal next time
Lovely fireplace and beer garden. Nice Guinness. Noiys next door is very good. Service is good

Very cosy place to enjoy a relaxed evening. Great garden space with lighting and covered, heated, pergola area, just in case of the typical English weather! Lovely friendly staff. You can also eat Noi Noodles too, as connected to the 'Hope' too. What more could you want?? 🥰

We went for Sunday lunch yesterday & both had a roast dinner & a dessert. We found the staff to be friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The place was spotless, parking was easy & the food excellent. They even had my wife's favourite, lemon meringue pie, on the dessert menu. 5/5 all the way. We would thoroughly recommend & will certainly be returning.
Nice local pub with a great noodle bar attached. In normal times you can have table service. There's a great outside area with various seating options. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Also you're just a few minutes from the beach
Decided to try somewhere different. This pub is really lovely. The barman was really friendly and efficient. Bit further to travel but definitely worth another visit.

Questions & answers
101Is it wheelchair suitable and have a disabled toilet ?
Hi Ron, unfortunately we're in a building that was built 200 years ago and, as understand it, the land around has risen, so the pub is a couple of feet lower than the land around it. However, our adjoining noodle bar (Noiy's Noodles), built 20 years ago is wheelchair accessible and does have disabled toilet facilities.
